Insulation and Renewable Energy News Ireland
Delivering Ireland's Energy Revolution
On the 29th of June 2022 the Irish Government via SEAI announced a revolutionary course for Irish energy use.
The course has been mapped out in response to the unprecedented threat faced by climate change, global warming and impending extension and aims to revolutionise the transport, commercial and home energy sectors.
They point out that in 2015 the world committed itself to keeping global temperatures under a 1.5 degree increase since pre industrial temperatures. There seems to also be a recognition that this is a task that will involve 'fundamental change across all aspects of society' and they focused on
1. Delivering their targets
2. Communicating their message
3. Collaborating with others
4. Building capacity and developing knowledge
5. Engaging with and supporting their staff
6. Underpinned by a Strong Governance Framework
